A candid discussion on how/why Patrcia Bossano became an indie author will illuminate the process that takes her from vision, to concept, to book cover. The discussion will highlight the importance of establishing a reliable network of professionals: graphic design, interior design, beta-readers, etc., as the team that will refine the vision she puts her heart into. With their trusted feedback, the finished product she takes on the road is one she believes in and is confident I she can sell.
Although born in California, Patricia grew up in Ecuador, South America, where her parents are from. She returned to the United States in the mid-1980s and until she was able to write full time, she developed a corporate career in International Sales Operations.
Raising a family in the 90s, she became a freelance translator, interpreting and teaching (English and Spanish) before a re-entry into the corporate world for one last ten-year stint.
At present, Patricia is a full-time artisanal wordsmith and the managing editor of WaterBearer Press, where we approach publishing one dream at a time. She is an award-winning artisanal wordsmith and old-school scribbler of No A.I. philosophical fictions and supernatural escapes, She is author of eleven books.
